Arua Hill unveil former Vipers SC defender

FUFA Big League side Arua Hill Sports Club have finally unveiled former Vipers SC defender Dan Birikwalira.

He has put pen to paper on a two year contract deal and joins as a free agent following the expiration of his employment with UPL reigning champions Vipers SC

He has previously featured for KJT, Bright Stars Football Club and Kyetume Football Club where he was on loan from Vipers SC.

Birikwalira is a winning captain and managed to guide Buganda province to the inaugural FUFA Drum tournament championship in 2019 and also helped St Mary’s Kitende to two Coca-Cola championships and two East Africa Championships in 2012 and 2013.

He is a product of the Airtel Masaza Cup tourney and helped Mawokota emerge champions in 2013.

Arua Sports Club will be under head coach Hussein Mbalangu assisted by Joseph Kiwanuka with Dudu Bosco as the Technical Director (TD)

Mbalangu has alot of confidence in Birikwalira as he believes his experience will greatly help the club in both attacking and defending,

“Dan’s experience will add more to the team both in defending and attacking.His movements going forward and his technique in crossing the ball will give strikers 90% chance to score goals..”

And I have a feeling his arrival will contribute greatly to us achieving our goal of gaining promotion to StarTimes Uganda Premier League.” Mbalangu added as reported by the club’s Facebook page

Arua Hill Sports Club based in Arua rebranded from Dove all Stars and they target Uganda Premier League promotion in the forthcoming season.
