Arua Hill crowned champions of the Big league after beating Tooro United

Arua Hill SC registered a slim 1-0 victory over Tooro United to emerge the champions of the 2020/21 FUFA Big League at FUFA Technical Center Njeru.

Rashid Kawawa’s 25th minute strike was enough to see off the team from the Rwenzori group.

Tooro United had to finish the game with one game less after Patrick Serunjogi was sent off by referee Ashadu Ssemeere with less than ten minutes to go for foul play on Aggrey Kirya.

Earlier on Gadaffi FC defeated Proline FC 2-0 courtesy of Frank Mulimi and Stephen Munguchi to gain top flight status.

Stephen Munguchi of Gadaffi has been named the Most Valuable player and he capped off his wonderful season with one of the two goals against Proline FC to earn top flight promotion.

Richard Anyama of Arua Hill SC was named the best goal keeper of the tournament.

Anyama kept 13 clean sheets and conceded only seven goals through out the season.

Clinton Kamugisha of Nyamityobora FC was the top scorer after he managed to scored 12 goals.

Fair play award went to Ndejje University and they walked out with million shillings.

All the individual winners moved away with one million shillings and a 32 inch TV each from Startimes

Tooro United the runners up were prized with five million shillings.

Arua Hill SC the champions of the FUFA Big League 2020/21 season who finished it unbeaten their prize money was ten million shillings.
