Anwar Ntege on the double as Busoga United sink Tooro United

Anwar Ntege and Shaka Ssozi were on target in Busoga United’s 3-1 victory over Tooro United at the Buhinga grounds in Fort Portal.

It was Busoga United’s second win in their four games played this season so far.

Ntege who bagged a brace, scored his first in the 23rd minute from the spot after Ponsiano Ssegonja handled the ball from Laban Tibita’s cross in the forbidden area.

Marvin Oshaba put the game to level in the 54th minute converting from the spot and took his season’s tally to three goals.

Nine minutes later, Shaka Ssozi restored the lead for Abbey Kikomeko’s charges.

Ntege then sealed it off with only 11 minutes left with a header off Peter Onzima’s well delivered cross.

Tooro United remain 12th on the table with four points from four games and will visit Wakiso Giants on November 19th in their next game.

Victory lifts Busoga United to the 7th position with six points from four games.

Busoga United will play their next game on November 20th against struggling Soltilo Bright Stars at FUFA Technical Center in Njeru.
