Maximum points at Kavumba will see Proline move out of the drop zone whereas Soana will be seeking to bridge the gap between them and the lowly sides.
Soana has this season been faced with lack of consistency and they are 11th placed on the AUPL log with 28 points accumulated in 25 league games.
Proline on the other hand have had a dreadful season and are tottering on the negative end of the table with less than 6 games to the league climax. They are 15th on with 23 points collected in 24 games.
Soana come in this fixture after suffering a 1-0 defeat at the hands of bottom placed side Masavu at Bugonga Fisheries grounds, courtesy of an Abraham Ndugwa lone goal. Their counter parts, Proline had a comfortable 3-1 win against Police in their last game at StarTimes Stadium, Lugogo.
The last five meetings between the two sides have seen Soana the dominant side winning 4 and only losing once to Proline.
The Kavumba outfit has won 6 of the 12 games they have hosted this season, drawing thrice and only losing to the three title contenders, KCCA, Vipers and SC Villa.
On the contrast, Proline is one of the 3 teams yet to clinch victory on the road with others being Mbarara City and Bright Stars.
Proline will miss the services of Isaac Owori, Allan Agaku, Sam Kintu ‘Tiyo’ and Savio Kabugo have all been ruled out through injuries. Joseph Mandela and Sula Matovu are also out for the visitors through suspensions.
The Wandegeya based side will look up to Daniel Isiagi, Gift Ali and David Owori for inspiration.
Skipper Timothy Musinguzi and Emmanuel Kalyowa are back on the hosts side after serving their one match suspension. Ibrahim Kizza, Allan Kayiwa, Baker Buyala are expected to put up an impressive performances for Alex Isabirye’s side.
Victory for Alex Isabirye’s side will move them closer to league safety whereas three points for Proline can see them move out of the red zone.
