Allan Kateregga signs for Cape Town City Fc

South Africa giants Cape Town City have signed winger Allan Kateregga on a a three year contract from Kcca Fc, where he was on loan from AFC Leopards.

Club chairman John Comitis reiterates on why they signed Allan Kateregga. He says,

“I sat with Benni and we discussed the need for a left-footed player marker and winger that could add something unique going forward. There were a few options for us in the market, but once Benni saw Kateregga play he basically just simply said this is the one.”

The Ugandan international is expected to add more in attack and his wealth of experience in Africa ahead of Cape Town City CAF Confederations cup campaign.

The winger has previously played Victoria University, Ushuru and AFC leopards both of Kenya and Kcca Fc. He finds Benni McCarthy’s side Cape Town City in second place on the ABSA Premier league.
