” We are glad to inform that Lori FC signed a contract with Ugandan full-back Alex Kakuba.” said the club statement

The former Proline FC left back has been handed shirt number 3 on arrival.

His new club Lori Football Club is fifth on the 10-team log with 30 points garnered from 20 games played so far.

Kakuba joins Eugene Ssepuya, Noah Babadi Kasule and Daniel Muzeeyi Serunkuuma as Ugandan players who have plied their trade in the Armenian league.

Kakuba has also had a handful of appearances in the national team colours with the recent coming in the goalless draw against Malawi in a friendly match at Namboole early last year.

He has previously featured for Esperança Lagos, Desportivo De Agueda, Sporting Covilha, Estoril Praia and CD Feirense in Portugal between 2012-2018.
