Alex Isabirye set to be named Masavu FC head coach.

Soana head coach Alex Isabirye is on the verge of joining newly promoted Masavu Fc, The Entebbe based side is set to offer Isabirye a two year contract.

The deal between the two parties is set to be completed over the weekend and he will officially conduct his first training sessions with the club on Monday 17th of this month.

Isabirye is currently un contracted to any club after the expiry of his six months contract with Soana FC ran out at the end of the season.

He is much remembered for his time at Victoria University FC when he guided them to the victory in the Uganda cup in 2013 winning KCCA FC in penalties.

Previously he had won Uganda premier league in 2011-2012 with Uganda Revenue Authority, his coaching journey also includes BUL FC, and Kirinya Jinja S. S

Isabirye will replace Allan Kabonge who led the club to top flight division of Azam Uganda premier league last year .

Swift Sports sources also understand that Masavu Fc owner Tonny Sozzi has sold off his shares to Entebbe municipality. It’s further reported that the two parties have reached an agreement and anytime an official statement will be released by the club.
