Uganda Premier league side Busoga United resigned midfielder Godfrey Akol from rivals BUL on the deadline day of the January transfer window
He has been awarded an employment contract of one year by the Abbey Kikomeko coached side.
Akol rejoins a side that he led to the top flight division while it was still called Kirinya Jinja SS in 2016. He has also previously played for Ngora Freda Carr.
The midfielder finds his new side in the relegation zone with only 14 points from they have accumulated in 14 games this season.
He will be expected to help Busoga United overcome the threat of relegation this term.
Busoga United will next face with URA FC on Friday 4th-February at Kakindu Stadium in Jinja.
