Afrobasket 2017 takes stage in both Senegal and Tunisia

After a great training session in Cairo, the National team eventually crossed to Dakar. The silverbacks had their preparations in Egypt where they also found time to check on the National football team, the Cranes who were set to play Egypt in a World Cup qualifying game.

The Afrobasket tournament started with qualifiers in March where 30 teams from different zones participated to make a final 16 participating teams.Uganda defeated Rwanda to qualify though Rwanda got their chance to participate on Wild card
