AFCON 2019: Uganda Cranes to play friendly against Turkmenistan

It’s confirmed that Uganda Cranes will play against Asian nation Turkmenistan in a closed door friendly game on 9th June.

The game will be played at the New York University in Abu Dhabi but with no fans allowed to access the stadium.

Turkmenistan is located in Central Asia boarded by Iran, Kazakhstan, Afghanistan and Uzbekistan.

The second friendly match Uganda Cranes will play will be against Ivory Coast on 15th June with the venue, kick off time and charges yet to be communicated.

This will be open for the fans to watch.

The Cranes intensified with preparations for the forthcoming Africa Cup of Nations tournament with training on Saturday but will have a day off on Sunday.

Midfielder William Kizito Luwagga and goalkeeper Jamal Salim Magoola will join the camp on Sunday while Swedish based duo of Abdu Lumala and Alexis Bakka will fly in on Monday 3rd June.
