Ugandan duo of Robert Achema and Mathew Odongo were on target as Tusker humiliated Taita Taveta All Stars 7-0 in the Sportspesa Shield contest at Dawson Mwanyumba Stadium.
Boniface Muchiri gave Tusker an early lead in the 3rd minute with a brilliant finish when he was fed by Sydney Ochieng.

At the stroke of halftime, Brian Osumba who had missed several chances doubled Tusker’s lead with a long range shot.
Coming back for the second half, Jackson Macharia extended Tusker’s lead tapping in a rebound following a save from the visitors side.
Robert Achema made it four in the 72nd minute of the game off a quality cross from Amos Asembeka. The Brewers weren’t done with scoring and with only 11 minutes to normal time Macharia completed his brace.
Two minutes later, Micheal Khamati was also on the score sheet with a great header for the 6th before Mathew Odongo completed the scoring in the 83rd minute.
The result sees Tusker progress to the round of 32 in the Sportspesa Shield knock out tournament.
