A must win for Busoga United against Kitara as survival battle intensifies

Busoga United will be seeking to complete a double over Kitara FC when the two sides face off on Saturday at Booma Grounds in Hoima.

Busoga beat Kitara 2-1 at home when the two sides met in the first round of the campaign.

Kitara come into this game charged after their 4-2 win over Kyetume in their previous league contest while Busoga will be aiming to return to winning ways having played out to a goalless stalemate with UPDF FC in their last league fixture.

The hosts were however knocked out of the Uganda Cup by Kigezi on away goals rule in the round of 32 tie.

Kitara have only registered two wins this term are currently bottom placed on the log with 8 points in 21 games.

Busoga who have managed 6 wins, drawn 6 and lost nine are 12th on the Uganda Premier League table with 24 points in 21 games.

The home side will be without injured duo of Maxwell Owachigui and Yubu Bogere but the rest of the squad is fully fit for the game.

Busoga United will miss the services of Wamusi Bernard, Benda Byron, Delton Oyo and Edrine Opaala.
