4th vs 6th as Wakiso Giants host Mbabazi’s Arua Hill

Wakiso Giants entertain Charles Livingstone Mbabazi’s Arua Hill in a battle between the 4th placed and the 6th at the Kabaka Kyabaggu grounds.

Wakiso Giants come into the encounter while 4th on the table with 20 points collected from 11 games and could go 3rd in case of victory depending on the results elsewhere.

Arua Hill are 6th with 18 points garnered from 11 games and their sight is also on the top three in case of any victory.

Wakiso Giants come into the encounter on the back of a goalless draw against Mbarara City in Kakyeka.

Arua Hill beat UPDF FC 2-1 in their most recent fixture thanks to Gaddafi Wahab and Rashid Kawawa for the goals.

The game will be the first time both sides are facing off while Mbabazi’s will face his former paymasters having coached the Purple Sharks two seasons ago.

Atendere Geriga, Faizul Ibrahim and Wahab will also be facing their former side.

Alex Gitta, the Wakiso Giants coach will be welcoming back Rahmat Ssenfuka who missed the previous visit to Mbarara.

He will continue to miss the suspended duo of Edward Satulo and George Kaddu while Pius Kaggwa and Moses Aliro are doubtful but could feature after a late assessment.

Ivan Bogere is also suspended after accumulating three yellow cards.

Arua Hill will be without the injured pair of goalkeeper Richard Anyama and Innocent Maduka while Robert Eseru returns from suspension.

Key Men

Arua Hill will be expected to rely on their gangly striker Alfred Leku who has scored five goals so far as well as Eseru and Samuel Ssekamatte depending on who will be selected on the day.

Wakiso Giants have their hopes in their leading scorer this season Titus Ssematimba as well as Frank Ssebufu who will expected to lead the search for goals.
