Referee Ali Kaddu handed suspension for disallowing Mukwala’s goal against Tooro United

The FUFA referees disciplinary panel has suspended referee Kaddu Ali for two weeks from officiating Uganda Premier League games effective from 1st December.

Kaddu disallowed Steven Mukwala’s goal against Tooro United with the referee claiming in his explanation that the forward intimidated the defender before scoring.

The panel has rejected the explanation from Kaddu and established that there was no protest from the opposing players of Tooro United.

It has also been established that the centre referee disallowed a goal and found that he was poorly positioned and did not use the services of the assistant referee.

Kaddu will however be allowed to officiate matches in other Uganda Football leagues during his time of suspension.
