The 2019 Bosch East African Badminton Challenge has been launched at City tyres headquarters located at sixth street Industrial area.
This year’s event will be played from 4th -6th October, 2019 under the theme “Let’s Play” at Lugogo Indoor Arena.

At the launch Badminton CEO Simon Mugabi explained on the different categories and expects a great tournament this year.
“We are have got entries from U-10, U-13, U-15 and U-19. It has got professionals, Universities, Corporates, Indians, Chinese and everyone who can play this game.”
We expect a great tournament this time because this year we have got the Chinese category that we didn’t have during the previous edition.” Stated Mugabi.
The tournament is fully sponsored by Mandela group of companies but under Bosch just like during last year’s edition.
City tyres, Bosch CEO Kumar also attended the official launch on Thursday 12th September.
Kenya,Tanzania, Burundi, Rwanda, China, India and host Uganda are the seven countries that will participate in the event.
