11 dropped as Uganda Cranes departs for Ethiopia

Eric Ssenjobe (Police FC), Patrick Henry Kaddu (RS Berkane), Muzamir Mutyaba (Express), Paul Willa (Vipers), Jude Semugabi (Mbarara City), Gift Ali (KCCA FC), Simon Tamale (Soltilo Bright Stars FC), Nafian Alionzi (URA FC), Hassan Muhamood and Nicholas Kasozi (Kyetume FC) are the 11 players dropped.

The Uganda Cranes head coach Milutin Sredojevic Micho has confirmed the traveling squad to Ethiopia.

Uganda will be facing off with Ethiopia in the friendly match on Sunday, 29th August.

The traveling team comprises of 19 players majority of which are from the Uganda Premier League.

Eric Ssenjobe (Police FC), Patrick Henry Kaddu (RS Berkane), Muzamir Mutyaba (Express), Paul Willa (Vipers), Jude Semugabi (Mbarara City), Gift Ali (KCCA FC), Simon Tamale (Soltilo Bright Stars FC), Nafian Alionzi (URA FC), Hassan Muhamood (Police) and Nicholas Kasozi (Kyetume FC) are the 11 players dropped.

The 33 man delegation which has 19 players and 14 officials will depart in the wee hours of Thursday for the build up game.

Foreign based players are expected to join the team before the World Cup qualifier group E game against Kenya on 6th September in Nairobi.
