It was pay back time at Kyabazinga Stadium Bugembe as ten man Soltilo Bright Stars edged BUL 1-0.

Defender Derrick Ngoobi scored the sole goal in the second minute of the game to ensure Baker Mboowa’s side move away with maximum points.

A minute later defender Walter Ochora had a chance to put the game to level only to miss a free header.

Soltilo Bright Stars had to complete the last 30 minutes of the game with one man less.

Andrew Kaggwa was sent off for a second bookable offence after a foul play on Thomas Kabale.

Alex Isabirye still has a lot to do as he is yet to register victory in his tenure as BUL heas coach. He has drawn twice and lost once in the league.

The loss leaves BUL in the 11th position with 27 points two positions above the drop zone.

Soltilo Bright Stars temporarily move to the fourth position with 40 points.

Both teams will play their next games on Tuesday 18th-May.

Isabirye’s charges will visit Douglas Bamweyana’s side Wakiso Giants at Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium in Wakiso.

Soltilo Bright Stars will make a long trip to play against Onduparaka at Green Light Stadium in Arua.
