After dismantling Express FC at the Star times stadium last evening, KCCA manager Mike Mutebi has thrown a massive warning to his challengers that his team are yet to be where he expects them to be.

KCCA only need a point to clinch a 13th league title, the 5th in the last eight years. Only Vipers and Express FC have won the league since the 2011/12 season.

Mutebi thinks that his team have not hit top gear despite being a distant nine points above 2nd placed Vipers SC.

“We won’t take the remaining games lightly because we need to create a cohesion and a winning momentum going into next season”.

” We have been operating at only 45% of our potential and somehow hit 50% towards the end of the season, we aim at improving our capacity to 55% and above next season, by then we shall be very dangerous to anyone”.

The champions elect have three games remained on their calender and their next victim will be relegation endangered Ndejje University on Tuesday next week. They will later visit Nyamityobora and wind up with Maroons at Lugogo.

Mutebi also added that KCCA need to win the league with a record number points bettering their what they managed in 2017.

“We have to win all the remaining games and surpass the number of points we garnered during the previous victory”.

KCCA will finish the season with 68 points if they win all their remain three games and better the 66 attained in the 2016/17 season.
