Walusimbi vows to guide Maroons FC back to topflight

After committing his future to Maroons Football Club forward Solomon vows to work tirelessly in seeing the club bounce back to the top-flight league.

The forward who was part of the squad that led to The Prison Warders to the Uganda Premier League in 2016-17 has signed an employment contract of two years.

It was so unfortunate that we were relegated to the FUFA Big League as things did not go as we expected.”

“I promise to work tirelessly with my fellow teammates so that we can see the team bouncing back to the Uganda Premier League.”

He also targets the golden boot as he aims to improve on his scoring abilities,

My personal target is the golden boot come next season which can only be achieved by scoring as many goals as I can.”

I am determined and ready to work so hard so that I can achieve the best,” Walusimbi added.

The forward who was part of the squad that led to The Prison Warders to the Uganda Premier League in 2016-17 has signed an employment contract of two years.

He joined Maxwell Okello, Sylvester Okello, Sydney Chika, Emmanuel Olinga and Yahya Luuti among the players who were awarded contract extensions.

The Prison side will be under the stewardship of Charles Ayiekoh assisted by Eric Ndifuna with Sadiq Wasswa as the goalkeeping coach. The 2020-21 FUFA Big League is expected to kick off on 29th October 2020.
