Swift sports sources understand that the Kitende based side however are not willing to let their hottest property leave in the coming transfer window.

Waiswa was an integral figure in Vipers league triumph last season and also help the Uganda national team qualify for the 2019 AFCON final tournament.

Should the deal materialise, the former Voxjo United attacking midfielder will join fellow countryman Joseph Ochaya who switched to the same club. Patrick Ochan is the other Ugandan to have played for the Congolese side.

Waiswa was named the Most Valuable player in 2018 Airtel FUFA awards beating Allan Okello ( KCCA FC) and Viane Sekajugo ( Onduparaka FC) for the accolade.

TP Mazembe was grouped in Group C in the  the CAF Champions league alongside Club Africain ( Tunisia), Ismaily SC ( Egypt) and CS Constantine ( Morocco).
