Vipers’ Fahad Bayo reveals new target after winning UPL

Fahad Bayo has congratulated his coaches, teammates upon the league triumph and has vowed to continue working hard.

This is after the Uganda Premier league season was abandoned with Vipers leading second placed KCCA FC by four points, with five games remaining to confirm the club’s four league title in history.

Bayo who joined Vipers at the start of the season from Zambia’s Buildcon with an immediate target of winning the league title, expressed his delight

I am extremely delighted to have won the league title with Vipers, it’s my first time to be a champion at any club. I congratulate my teammates, coaches Fred Kajoba and Edward Golola upon a successful campaign.”

He added,

“This campaign is now done so focus is to continue working hard to reach my goals. Winning the trophy is a great achievement in my career but not the end of the world. I want to win more other things in my career as a footballer.” Stated Bayo.

Bayo finished the season as the club’s top scorer with 12 league goals. Maroons forward Steven Mukwala who was on loan from Vipers was the league’s top scorer with 13 goals.
