Uganda Cranes will finally depart for the Dubai camp


The Uganda Cranes will finally depart for the training camp in Dubai on Wednesday 7th October aboard Ethiopian Airlines.
Johnathan McKinstry and his Charges are in preparation for the double header with South Sudan in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers.

This was confirmed today morning by Federation of Uganda Association FUFA Ahmed Hussein at FUFA house Mengo,

“The local based players who are supposed to join the rest of the team who ply their trade outside of Uganda will travel tonight aboad Emirates Airlines at 9pm and have had a training session today at Lugogo.

Hussein also confirmed on Derrick Nsibambi missing out after sustaining an injury,

“Unfortunately one of the players who had been summoned earlier Derrick Nsibambi will not be part of the team after picking up an injury while featuring for his club.”

The team was supposed to depart on Sunday 4th-October but did not make it due to a delay in some documents.

Jayden Onen, Elvis Bwomono, Joseph Ochaya, Bevis Mugabi, Allan Kyambadde, Nicholas Wadada, Farouk Miya and Jamal Salim are the eight foreign based players already in Dubai.
