Steven Mukwala’s goal gives Uganda hope of making threw to the next and final stage of qualification for the tournament they have never taken part into.
Big boost is that experienced left wing back Mustapha Kizza returns and he will be joined by Bashir Asiku, Geoffrey Wasswa and Mustafa Mujuzi in defense to protect Uganda’s lead.
The winner will take on either Tanzania or Mali in the final round for a place at the final tournament scheduled for Feb 2019 in Niger.
Mali holds a 2-1 advantage over Tanzania and they will face off on Sunday 20th.
