Striker Edrisa Kaye is on a return to Wankulukuku after spending the better part of the last decade on the Asian continent.

Kaye played for the Red Eagles, SC Villa and the national U23 team The Kobs before moving to Malaysia in 2012.

Another signing is offensive midfielder Peter Mutebi who featured for Nyamityobora in the final half of the previous season.

Mutebi put pen to paper on a contract that will keep him at Express until 2022 unless otherwise.

The trio joins other signings already made by the Wankulukuku club who include; Amdan Nsubuga, Andrew Kiwanuka and former Synergy FC defender Muhammad Yiga among others.

Earlier on, Express completed the signing of former Uganda Hippos midfielder Daniel Shabena on a three year deal.

It was also confirmed that the club will unveil 22 new players in their 28-man squad to be used for the new season.

There has been a massive exodus at Wankulukuku with the biggest part of last season’s squad already departed.

Under the stewardship of George Ssimwogerere and his deputy James Magala, Express finished 10th on the Uganda Premier League log with 40 points from 30 games played.
