Township Rollers coach to miss encounter against KCCA FC

Township Rollers will make a trip to Uganda to face KCCA in round 5 of the CAF Champions League at Namboole on Saturday 18th August.

The Botswana champions will however be without their Serbian head coach Nikola Kavazovic who is reportedly on his way to his native country due to family commitments.

In a communication by the club, it is confirmed that Nikola Kavazovic will not travel with the Township Rollers contingent to Kampala but rather make a trip to Serbia.

” Our headcoach Nikola Kavazovic has to attend a family matter and hence will be travelling home to Serbia today evening. He is scheduled to return back to Gaborone on the 27th August before the CAF Champions League game against Esperance Sportve De Tunis.”

In his brief absence, Goalkeeper Coach Thabo Motang and assistant coaches Leutlwetse Tshireletso and Marko Vasiljevic shall take charge.

Township Rollers are 3rd on the Group A table with 3 points collected from 4 games while KCCA come last courtesy of head to head difference after accumulating the same number of points.

Rollers are expected to step down in Kampala this afternoon aboard South African Airways
