The inaugural Tusk Lager Malt Lager Golf Series, a new exciting addition to the local golf calendar has officially been launched. The series will traverse 7 events, over 17 weeks at 6 golf courses and will begin this Friday October 12th at the Uganda Golf Club and end on 23rd February 2019.
Tusker Malt Lager are the main sponsors alongside MTN, Vivo/ Shell, Serena Group, Commercial Bank of Africa, Ethiopian Airlines, Pepsi and Kenya Ports Authority will see both seasoned and newbie golfers enjoy the best of the game on courses across the country in search for points and prizes including an all-expenses paid golf holiday in Pattaya, Thailand.
Juliana Kagwa the UBL Marketing Director, stated that the event is one they hope to transform into one of the region’s foremost golf affairs.

Over Shs100 million is up for grabs in cash and prizes for the 17 week competition. The rewards get better with winners assured of an all-expenses paid trip to Pattaya, Thailand. The trip goes to the best female and male players as well as the top two male and female teams.

The series opener will be held at the Uganda Golf club on October 12th followed by Tooro Club in Fort Portal on November 10, Mbarara Sports club 24th November before closing the year in Jinja on December 8th.
In the new year, the Tusker Malt Lager Golf Series will continue at Entebbe club on January 26th, followed by the penultimate round at Lake Victoria Serena, Kigo on February 2nd. After six rounds, the series the grand finale will be return to Uganda Golf Club on February 23rd, 2019.
