Moroccan giants Wydad Casablanca have completed the signing of Tanzanian forward Saimon Happygod Msuva from Difaa Hassan El Jadidi.
Msuva who is currently in camp with the Taifa Stars ahead of their double header against Tunisia, put pen to paper on a four year contract with the Moroccan record champions.
The 27 year Tanzanian has been one of the best performers in the Moroccan Botola Pro League in the past three seasons and notably scored the lone goal as Difaa El Jadidi beat Wydad Casablanca 1-0 in February.
However, he scored five goals and made three assists last season for Difaa El Jadidi and garnered interest from the Reds who had a poor finish to the season.
He is a direct replacement for Ugandan forward Joel Madondo who mutually left the club in June after featuring in only two games.
Wydad Casablanca had a barren season having missed out on the league title to rivals Raja Casablanca and terribly lost 5-1 on aggregate to Al Ahly in the CAF Champions League semi final last month.
Msuva has previously featured for Azam FC, Moro United and last played for Yanga SC before joining Difaa El Jadidi in 2017.
He was on the score sheet when Tanzania beat Uganda Cranes 3-0 in the last group game of the 2019 AFCON qualifiers in Dar es Salaam in March 2018.
