” I am very happy that i renewed my contract with Express Fc for two years, its now upon me plus all the other teammates to deliver for the club. Last season we finished 6th and this time we have to aim for bigger things.”

Luswata also talked about the exited players like Yayo Lutimba, Simon Sserunkuma, Mahad Yaya, Musa Mukasa and Allan Kyambadde.

“All the players who left were great for the club last season and it is bad that they left at the time the club needed them. But it was their decision and so as a fellow player i wish them all the best in their new clubs.”

Despite the exits, he insists the club is bigger than individuals and the players retained will be able to fight for badge of Express FC,

“Many clubs have strengthened their squads teams like Vipers Sc, Sc Villa, Police and others, but a good season for us would be fighting for trophies and finishing in a great position than we did last season and I think we can achieve big next season.”

The former Vipers Sc man helped Express Fc reach the Uganda Cup semifinal losing to eventual winners Kcca and led them to a 6th league position on 44 points.
