Shadow Boxing challenge successfully concludes, Muhangi impressed with turn up

The first ever Shadow Boxing Challenge that started on 15th June came to an end on 19th June 2020.

Over 500 Ugandans participated in the challenge that attracted sorts of people notables were people with disabilities, brick layers, corporate working class people, journalists, musicians open boxers and professional boxers.

Participants took part by sharing their shadow boxing challenge videos on various Uganda Boxing Federation platforms ; Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

The UBF President Moses Muhangi was impressed with the large turn up

“I take this opportunity to appreciate all those that have participated in the Shadow Boxing challenge.” Much as it was the first of it’s kind in Uganda, I am extremely delighted with the amazing turn up.”

I thank all the people who took part in the challenge and those that voted for their best by liking their videos on our social media pages.”

For starters, social media votes will contribute to 40% of the final results and the UBF technical committee headed by coach Lihanda Patrick will take up 60%.

The winners are to be declared on Monday 22nd June 2020.
