Uganda Premier League record-holders SC Villa have officially unveiled striker Isaac “Falcao” Ogwang as their latest signing ahead of the 2020/21 season.
As earlier reported by this website, Ogwang put pen to paper on a two-year contract with the Jogoos who already lost Bashir Mutanda to Mbarara City.
Upon signing, Ogwang took up SC Villa’s shirt number 11 which was previously occupied by Ambrose Kirya who joined BUL FC on a one year contract.
Ogwang is nicknamed “Falcao” after Colombian striker Radamel Falcao who previously played for Manchester United, Chelsea, Atletico Madrid, AS Monaco and FC Porto.
He has previously played for Friends Soccer Academy Lugazi, Spartans FC and Kampala Junior Team (KJT) in the lower divisions.
The lanky forward also featured for Bugerere, Gomba and Buddu in the Masaza Cup tournament as well as St. Lawrence University in the University Football League.
He also played for Risah Standard Lugazi and Masaka SS in the National Post Primaries.
SC Villa who are under the stewardship of Edward Kaziba, have already unveiled goalkeepers Meddie Kibirige and Martin Ssenkooto, midfielders Geoffrey Gofin Oyirwoth and Muhammad and left-back Andrew Kiwanuka.
