Paidha Black Angels, Maroons settle for a one all draw

Paidha Black Angels and Maroons FC played to a 1-1 draw in one of the four matches played on Thursday at the Greenlight stadium in Arua.

The Prison wardens drew first blood through Seif Batte in the 6th minute and ensured a halftime lead.

The home side rallied through defender Jerry Adebu in the 66th minute and ultimately won a point.

Paidha Black Angels skipper Cromwell Rwothomio was the only player booked on the day by Referee Aisha Semambo in the 59th minute.

The result means Paidha Black Angels remain bottom on the table with 7 points having only managed one win in the 15 games.

Maroons FC are now 12th with 15 points as the first half of the season concludes.

In the other games played on the day, Nyamityobora held BUL FC to a 2-2 draw, Express failed to edge Ndejje University in a 0-0 encounter while Tooro United registered a 2-0 win over Bright Stars.
