Onduparaka vs URA FC : Caterpillars seek to halt 6-match winless streak

Onduparaka FC aim at putting an end to their winless run that stretches to six league games when they host URA FC at Greenlight stadium in Arua.

The Caterpillars have only managed three wins and lost on three occasions since their last win in the league that came in December against Police.

The West Nile outfit play against a URA side who lost their recent game 1-0 to Maroons at Namboole.

The two sides come into their 19th game of the season with only two points separating them. URA sit 5th with 28 points while Onduparaka are 8th with 26 points.

The previous meetings between the two teams have seen URA FC winning twice and drawing twice while Onduparaka have won on one occasion. URA won 3-1 in the reverse fixture at Namboole.

Onduparaka new coach Sadic Sempigi is optimistic the club’s unpleasant spell is bound to end if only the players implement the game plan.

” We are set for the game knowing we haven’t got good results in the previous games. We have prepared very well to get better results and I know if the players player according to the plan, we shall win tomorrow. “

” We have been watching their (URA’s) games and we have prepared to counter their system of play.” The newly appointed coach added.

Onduparaka will miss the services of defender Sabir Simba and former URA skipper Oscar Agaba who are declared injured but welcome Solomon Okwalinga and Abel Eturude who missed the club’s goalless draw with Kirinya Jinja SSS.

URA welcome their head coach Sam Simbwa who has been serving a four match suspension.

The tax collectors will look up to their captain Shafik Kagimu, Said Kyeyune, Matthew Odong and Peter Lwasa in search for a season double against Onduparaka.

A win for the tax collectors can push them to the fourth place temporarily dislodging BUL FC while Onduparaka can move up to the 5th place with 29 points should they scoop maximum points come tomorrow.
