Onduparaka Football Club has officially unveiled versatile player Derrick Ochen on Wednesday via their social media pages.
Ochen joins the Arua outfit on a one year employment contract as a free agent after he was released by Uganda Revenue Authority Football Club last year.
Ochen has previously featured for The Saints FC (defunct) and Kira United before he joined URA FC in 2018. Last year, he played a vital role during Acholi Province’s FUFA Drum.
He joins Simon Okot, Stephen Ogiramoi, Oketch Emmanuel, Emmanuel Odur, Gabriel Matata, Kennedy Atibuni, Jerry Jakisa, Bonny Musema, Augustine Opoka, Oscar Agaba, Kenneth Makara, Jasper Okello and Shaban Wasswa who are the other new recruits at the club.
Onduparaka will be under the stewardship of Bainomugisha Vialli who was appointed on a three year employment contract at the start of the current transfer window.
The Arua outfit finished eighth on the Uganda Premier League table last season with 31 points from 25 games played as the league was ended due to the deadly global coronavirus pandemic.
