Tony Odur has returned to Express FC this follows expiration of his two year contract at Vipers SC.

This is the fourth time that forward is returning to the Wankulukuku based side in his football career. He first played for them from 2003-2006, 2009-10, before rejoining them in 2015-16 season.

The Wankulukuku side have been in search of an established forward ahead of the new season to strengthen their striking force. This follows the departure of their hero on the last day of last season Alfred Leku who joined Botswana side Jwaneng Galaxy FC.

The prodigal son was believed to be on the verge of making a return to his former side and Stanbic Uganda cup champions KCCA FC.

Odur has previously featured for Express (three times), Brabrand IF ( Denmark), KCCA, Nkana Red Devils (Zambia) and Vipers SC.

Kefa Kisala coached side is also on the verge of signing Burundi goalkeeper Fabien Mutombora from Burundi side Lydia Ludic Academic.

Odur joins former Express player Ibrahim Kayiwa, Levi John from Bukavu Dawa, Isaac Mutanga and Congolese striker Eric Kambale as the other new recruits.

Express last season was a sinking ship as they finished the entire season fighting for relegation and finished 13th on the AUPL log with 31 points.
