New league comers Nyamityobora FC will use Muteesa II Stadium, Wankulukuku as their home ground for the coming 2018-19 season.
Swift Sports Uganda understands that the Mbarara based outfit today morning commenced negotiations with the stadium management.
The club represented by Eng. Ben Missaga and Ivan Kakembo reached a compromise and carried out the initial transactions to see them use the stadium.
As of yesterday evening, Nyamityobora FC, together with their Mbarara rivals Mbarara City had no home grounds allocated against them in the draft fixtures since Kakyeka Stadium had no reached the minimum standards of the FUFA licensing committee.
Mbarara City had also expressed an interest of using Wankulukuku but inexplicably, the club’s representatives didn’t turn up in the eleventh hour of negotiations.
The Abanyakare will now share Wankulukuku with the initial occupants Express FC.
Nyamityobora will make a long trip to Arua to take on Onduparaka in their first ever topflight game on Friday 28th September.
