Nyamityobora captain Henry Wamala vows to fight for top flight status

Nyamityobora FC skipper Henry Wamala has vowed that his team is ready for the fight to stay in the league.

This will be Nyamityobora’s debut season in the topflight and they open their journey with a difficult away trip to Onduparaka FC in Arua

“The fans are expecting a lot from us and we are ready to repay their faith. This will however be achieved through hardwork and determination”.

“This is team work the best can only be attained through co-operation in all departments that is the players, techincal team and the management.”

Wamala added that he has a lot of confidence in the squad and he expects them to deliver.

” We have a squad which can compete favourably so am calling upon my fellow players to always take every game as a final so we have to play our hearts out on every game.”

“The friendlies we have had and our participation in the Phillip Omondi Invitational Tournament helped us a lot in discovering our mistakes .”

He concluded by calling upon the fans to always come and cheer up their club ahead of the new season,

” Our fans have always stood with us at all times, I call them upon to strongly come and support us as we work hard to give out the best which is expected from us.

Defender Wamala has been with Nyamityobora FC since the 2017- 2018 season and was among the players who saw the club to the top tier.
