Mbarara City sink Paidha Black Angels in Arua

Karim Ndugwa and Steven Kabuye’s goals were enough to see Mbarara City sink Paidha Black Angels to go fifth on the Uganda Premier league table.

Both sides had to settle for a goalless opening stanza though the visitors looked the better side creating numerous opportunities.

In the 57th minute, talisman Karim Ndugwa fired Livingston Mbabazi’s into the lead sending the visiting fans into a frenzy.

Steven Kabuye doubled the lead in the 72nd minute to see that the Mbarara outfit leave Arua with maximum points.

Ibrahim Orit and Jasper Ahebwa were booked on the visitors side while Dickson Galabuzi was cautioned on the hosts side.

Victory takes Mbarara City to fifth place on the log with 13 points garnered while defeat sees Paidha drop to the relegation zone and are second from the bottom with 4 points.

Paidha Black Angels next travel to Vipers on 21st November while Mbarara City will host BUL FC on 13th November.
