MATCH PREVIEW : Injury ravaged Maroons hosts Proline FC

Maroons FC hosts Proline Fc at the Prisons grounds in Luzira for their 8th game of the season.

Maroons have not beaten Proline in the topflight on 4 occasions, and they will be looking for their first home win this term. Their 2 wins of the season have come from away beating Bright stars and Masavu.

Asaph Mwebaze will have to negotiate tomorrow’s fixture without 6 of his players. Patrick Gonahasa ( Back), Maxwell Okello (Thigh), Amanya Junior and Richard Ayiko who will be out through suspension after accumulating many yellow cards.

Other missing players are Wani Ivan and Abdallah Ssenyonga who are out of the camp sitting for UNEB final exams plus Ronald Muganga, a long term absentee.

Proline will also be without captain Savio Kabugo who is suspended after seeing red against UPDF. Nigerian Musa Kundi will partner Mujuzi Mustafa in defense.

Daniel Isiagi will look to build on his fine form exhibited against UPDF and he will join Sula Matovu Malouda in attack who is also returning from injury.

Maroons head coach Asaph Mwebaze is optimistic his team is braced for their first home win of the season. He says,

” We have prepared well for this game, Proline have always given us a hard time in the league but we beat them during our meeting in the Big league”.

” They are a high scoring team but we also do not concede many. We are positive for a win tomorrow and we hope to register our first home win against them on the the third time trying. ”
