Madondo strike spurs Kirinya past the Cops

Joel Madondo scored the sole goal as Kirinya Jinja SSS clinched a 1-0 victory over Police at the Mighty Arena in Jinja.

Madondo’s 10th goal of the season came five minutes to the mandatory halftime break and ensured the first win under interim coach Abbey Bogere Kikomeko.

Abdallah Mubiru threw on Basani Safi and Ruben Kimera but his changes couldn’t not salvage a point for the Cops.

The win takes Kirinya Jinja SSS to the 10th points on 24 points while Police drop to the 8th place on 27 points.

Next on card for Kirinya Jinja SSS will be a trip to URA FC on Thursday 21st February while Police host KCCA at Lugogo on the same day.
