Kyetume FC sign Onduparaka skipper

Kyetume Football Club have signed Onduparaka Football Club skipper Muhammad Rashid.

Rashid who signed an employment contract of one year reunites with his former coach Livingston Mbabazi whom he worked with both at Onduparaka Football Club and Mbarara City FC.

He believes change of environment will be of good help as he targets going professional.

“Despite change in the environment I am more than ready to deliver at my new club with all my heart as I believe it will help me go further as I target going professional.”

The former Onduparaka Football Club skipper has previously played for Vura FC, Moyo Town Council FC, KGS FC Kabale, Alhily in Sudan, Paidha Black Angels FC and Mbarara City FC.

At Kyetume Football Club he joins former teammate Ezra Bida, Richard Matovu (BUL FC), Felix Okot (Maroons FC), Joshua Kigozi ( Luweero United), Hassan Kabuye ( Mbarara City), Raymond Walugembe (Buwambo United), Musitafa Mujuzi ( Proline FC) and Derrick Were(Kiyinda Boys).

The Slaughters completed their maiden season in the Uganda Premier League 11th with 29 points when the 2019-20 season was called off due to the pandemic.
