Kizito Luwagga joins Belarusian champions on loan

The Uganda Cranes attacking midfielder has joined Belarus top flight side BATE Borisov on a season loan from CM Lasi of Romania.

BATE Borisov FC is a Belarusian club based in Barysaw and the reigning champions with 14 league titles currently playing in the UEFA Champions league.

Kizito Luwagga has played for Politehnica Lasi for the last season after his exit from Rio Ave club based in Portugal.

At Lasi, Luwagga played 28 league games, scored 3 goals hence the team finishing in the 6th position.

The attacking midfielder will don shirt 21 at his new team and this will see him there on a long season loan.

He has played for Vipers Sc, Sporting Covilha, Fereinse, Leixoes, Politehnica.

Kizito Luwagga is among the national team summoned by Coach Sebastien Desabre this morning ahead of the 2019 African Qualifier against Tanzania this September.
