Kitara, Busoga United miss out as UPL release draft fixtures

Newly promoted Kitara Football Club and Busoga United miss out as The Uganda Premier League Secretariat release a draft of the 2020-21 season fixtures.

The football season is expected to kick off 3rd December with reigning champions Vipers SC hosting new entrants Maraba Youth Development Association (MYDA) FC at St Mary’s Stadium Kitende and KCCA visiting Solitilo Bright Stars on a venue yet to be confirmed.

Kitara Football Club and Busoga United miss out after failure to meet the minimum requirements as per club licensing.

Record champions SC Villa, BUL FC, Kyetume FC, Mbarara City FC, Solitilo Bright Stars, UPDF FC and Uganda Revenue Authority Football Club are yet to confirm their home grounds

Newly promoted MYDA FC will host from King George IV Memorial Stadium in Tororo.

 

The fixtures are subjected to change due to television schedule and fullfillment of FUFA Licensing requirements by UPL Clubs.

Thursday 3rd-December-2020:

Vipers Vs MYDA- St Mary’s Stadium Kitende.
Soltilo Bright Stars Vs KCCA- Venue to be communicated

Friday 4th-December:
Police Vs Wakiso Giants-MTN Omondi Stadium Lugogo
BUL Vs SC Villa- Venue to be communicated

Saturday 5th-December:
Onduparaka Vs Express- Green Light Stadium Arua.
Mbarara City Vs URA FC-Venue to be communicated
