Mike Mutebi the KCCA manager however sung praises for Bright stars FC and expects them to put up a big challenge.

“They are playing, they are a very organized team defensively when they don’t have the ball”

” They are having a wonderful ride, they have 7 points, they are winning and have not lost a match so it’s going to be very difficult for us”.

He said during a pre- match press conference at Lugogo.

Both teams are tied on 7 points with Bright Stars in the 2nd position on the table as they better 3rd placed KCCA on goal difference.

In their 5 recent meetings, Bright stars have not managed a win against KCCA. They have managed a single draw and lost the other 4 games.

Their last meeting at Lugogo ended in a very entertaining goalless draw with the visitors’ defence proving unbreakable and experienced goalkeeper Hamza Muwonge standing up to be counted on numerous occasions.

Bernard Muwanga, Gift Ali, Musa Esenu, Julius Poloto all remain sidelined due to injury for KCCA while there are no injuries for Fred Kajoba’s Bright stars whose attacking force will be commanded by skipper Nelson Senkatuuka who will be facing his former pay masters.

Goalkeeper Ikara Tom is free from injury and is expected to return for the Kasasiro boys.

A win for either KCCA FC or Bright stars FC takes them to 10 points and to the top of the table.
