Herbert Bockhorn will have to wait a little longer to make his debut in the Uganda Cranes colours after suffering an injury setback over the weekend.
The German based right back who turns up for Borussia Dortmund reserve side was a surprise inclusion in Sebastien Desabre 46-man provisional squad for the final AFCON qualifier against Tanzania.
The 24 year old was born to a Ugandan mother Marion Nansubuga and a German father Hartwig Bockhorn in January 1999 at Nsambya hospital before the family moved to Germany.
Bockhorn started his career as a football player at TSV Melsdorf in 2002 before turning up for SV Werder Bremen Junior teams and SC Wiedenbrück.
Desabre has already hinted on replacing Bockhorn with a new player that will be confirmed tomorrow.
Previously, Denis Iguma was also ruled out of clash against Tanzania after suffering an injury while with Kazma FC in Kuwait and his place was subsequently taken by Ethiopia Bubba’s Kirizestom Ntambi.
