“We are ready for the game and optimistic to scoop maximum points. We have no injuries and everyone is fit to take part in the contest. Stated the tactician.

He however expressed disappointment with the region’s football governing body, KRL, over the recent match postponements, adding that it affected the players confidence and the club’s preparations

“The game was originally scheduled for December 16th last year and it was postponed, this was not good for us because it demotivated my players. I think this should be revised by the organisers for the good of the league. But we remain strong and ready for today’s fixture.”

Katwe are top of league with 24 points from the eleven games played so far. They have won seven, drawn thrice and lost only a game.

Katwe United is a side owned by Hon. Allan Ssewanyana and are last season’s Champions but they narrowly missed qualifying to Uganda’s second tier division after losing to Kiboga Young in the promotional play offs.
