Goals Galore In Orlando Pirates First Game For Micho

Orlando Pirates played their first competitive friendly game under Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic and won convincingly against Platinum Stars on the weekend.

Micho was announced as the new Pirates coach on Thursday last week. The 47-year old was in charge as the team defeated Platinum Stars in a friendly match on the weekend.

The Serbian mentor marked his return to Mzansi for a second stint with the Soweto giants with a 6-1 win for over Dikwena, who also have a new coach, Peter Butler.

Abbubaker Mobara scored two goals, while Thamsanqa Gabuza, Ayanda Nkosi, Happy Jele and Mpho Makola all scored a goal each.

The Buccaneers will get their 2017/18 Absa Premiership season underway with a match against Chippa United at Orlando Stadium on 19 August.
