SINAN RAJUB SENOGA

The Futsal Super League will return on Thursday 17th January with six games on card at the International Futsal Courts in Mengo, Kisenyi.

Log leaders Parakeets seek to maintain a grip on the top when they take on Nomad at 8:00pm.

Parakeets went top of the table last week after thumping Yap Stars 6-0 thanks to Onegi Borris, Arafat Ssentongo, Othieno Ivan Paul and Abigaba Joseph.

Parakeets play against the Nomad side who are 7th on the table with 14 points and lost their most recent game 3-2 against Equator.

Second placed Park lock horns with the defending champions Dream in another exciting fixture at 8:00pm.

Park are two points shy of Parakeets while Dream are distant 6th and have managed maximum points in their last two games.

Dream’s Ssegawa John Kintu will be in limelight after scoring four goals in his side’s 4-1 win over Aidenal.

Babu Iddi of Park

Idd Babu (12 goals) and Shafik Mulangira (14 goals) are expected to fire up the Park team in absence of their leading scorer Joseph Bukenya Kizza who was exempted from the league by KCCA Junior Team.

Typhoon who pummeled Elephants 7-1 last week take on fourth placed Crown at 7:00pm.

Victory for the “White walkers” can dislodge Crown from the 4th place since 3 points separate the two sides.

Stephen Veron Bikamata and Umaru Sebuliba will be the men expected to guide Typhoon to the desired victory. Bikamata scored 4 goals last week while Sebuliba grabbed a hat trick.

Wounded sides Bajim and Yap Stars will open up the action packed day at 6:00pm. Both teams lost 5-4 and 6-0 to Yeak Kabowa and Parakeets respectively.

Kabowa United play against Elephants at 7:00pm whereas Equator face 3rd Yeak Kabowa in the last game of the day at 9:00pm
