FUTSAL: Holders Dream face wounded leaders Yeak Kabowa

The Futsal Super League will resume this Thursday with seven fixtures at the International Futsal Courts in Mengo, Kisenyi.

Table leaders Yeak Kabowa will play against defending champions Dream who are third on the table with 29 points.

Yeak Kabowa suffered a set back last week after falling 3-0 to Park a result that saw their five-point lead reduce to only two points.

Shafik Avemah and Enock Ssebagala are expected to spur Yeak Kabowa back to rails while Ssegawa John Kintu will be the go-to man for the holders.

Park will be targeting to dislodge Yeak Kabowa on summit in case of any slip when they take on Equator in the early kick of the day.

Equator come into this game 9th on the log after defeating Bajim 2-1 last week.

Park’s captain Babu Iddi who has 22 goals so far will be hoping to extend his season tally in pursuit for the golden boot.

Fourth placed Parakeets play against lowly side Elephants in one of the 7:00pm kick offs. At the same time, Kabowa United and Yap Stars will face off in the bottom of table affair.

Typhoon will go toe-to-toe with Bajim at 8:00pm with both sides aiming at winning ways. The whitewalkers played to a 1-1 draw with Nomad last week while Bajim lost to Equator.

League debutants Aidenal School of Art will lock horns with Kabowa United at 9:00pm. Aidenal are 11th while Kabowa United are 13th (second from bottom)

Nomad and Crown who are separated by one point will play against each other in another late kick off. Nomad are fifth with 27 points, one better than Crown.

Shafik Avemah leads the scoring chats with 26 goals while Park’s Babu Idd comes closet.
