FUTSAL: Battle for supremacy as Park and Crown lock horns in New Year’s Action

Thursday 3rd January pits table leaders Park against their closest rivals Crown in one of the six games of the Futsal League at the International Futsal Courts in Mengo.

Park assumed the table summit last week after seeing off Aidenal and are one point clear of second placed Crown who are on 18 points after 8 games.

High-flying top scorer Joseph Bukenya Kizza will be expected to replicate his scoring exploits once again for the table toppers in a bid to consolidate their spot.

Bukenya leads the scoring chats with 19 goals following his hat trick against Aidenal School of Art in the previous game.

In the other games to be played on the day, Third placed Yeak Kabowa will seek to maintain their steady run when they take on lowly side Kabowa United who are second from the bottom.

Typhoon, 6th with 13 points have a date with their staggering holders Dream who are 8th with only 9 points garnered from 7 games. The White walkers are fresh from a 9-2 mauling of Kabowa United while Dream lost 2-1 to Parakeets.

Third from the bottom, Elephants entertain Mengo City in the early kick off of the evening. The two are tottering on the negative side of the table with only a different of one place and three points.

Parakeets play their 8th game of the campaign against Bajim while bottom placed Yap Stars face Equator in the late kick off at 9:00pm
