FUFA Big League : Wakiso Giants, Kyetume share spoils

Wakiso Giants and Kyetume FC played to a 1-1 draw in a FUFA Big League Sunday encounter at the Nakisunga Saaza grounds in Mukono.

Faisam Malangu on loan from KCCA FC gave Alex Isabirye’s Kyetume a halftime lead.

Former SC Villa winger Ivan Kiwewa “Kalolo” levelled matters for Wakiso Giants with a penalty in the 58th minute.

The result propelled Wakiso Giants to the second place with 9 points from 5 games and remain unbeaten.

Kyetume also moved to the third place of the Elgon group with 9 points and an inferior goal difference.

The two sides are now two points behind log leaders Light SSS FC from Soroti who have played a game more.

In another game played on Sunday, Nebbi Central got off the mark with a 2-1 win over former Premier league side JMC Hippos thanks to a brace from Walter Wathum.

The FUFA Big League will resume with one fixture on Monday 10th December with Proline FC visiting lowly placed Kira United at the Mandela National Stadium.
